Using our data gathering platform allows you to apply for your badge through the Wolverhampton city council.

Applying through this system eliminates the geographical and topographical test.

There is no English language test, and we will provide training for the multiple-choice test.

We will assist in undertaking your medical test.

All tests will be completed locally.

Upon successful application, you will be required to attend Wolverhampton City Council in order to collect your Private Hire License.

In addition to collecting your license, you may be required to attend Wolverhampton City Council upon their request.

Over 18
Full drivers license (ideally applicants should have no more than 3 points on their license, however, this is not prohibited)
Possess a clean criminal record
Must have the right to work within the UK
Must be able to pass medical test
A basic understanding of English is required in order to sit the multiple choice test

Payments are taken in stages. There are 4 stages of this application.

Stage 1: DBS check

Stage 2: Knowledge Test

Stage 3: Medical Certificate

Stage 4: Passport Photo

(All of this is included within the set fee)

This is permitted by the local government (Miscellaneous Provisions Act) as amended by the Deregulation Act 2015.
